Eugene M. Mang, 79, husband of Christine (Basile) Mang, of Phoenixville, passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2008, in his residence.? Born in Norristown, he was a son of the late Samuel and Irene Mang.? ?
Mr. Mang was employed for 37 years as a welder at the former McCarter Iron Works, in Norristown until his retirement in the early 1990's.? He was also an avid fisherman.?
In addition to his loving wife of 47 years, Mr. Mang is survived by son Tony, husband of Nancy Cappelli, of Seattle, Washington, grandson, Jeffrey Cappelli, niece Peggy Nailon, of Pottstown, close friend Ken Thompson, of Spring City, and many friends.? ?
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside service at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, 352 S. Gulph Rd., King of Prussia, on Monday, September 8, 2008, at 10 am.?
