Evalynne A. Herholz, age 71, wife of the late Richard W. Herholz, of Limerick, PA, passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2010, in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Akron, OH, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Asta (Dyrland) Thayer.

Mrs. Herholz graduated high school in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Ohio, and was involved with the Red Hat Society. She was an active member of the Phoenixville Senior Center, and for the past 16 months enjoyed attending the Frederick Mennonite Community's Day Center. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, solving crossword puzzles, reading, and dancing.

Mrs. Herholz is survived by four daughters, Terri, wife of Kevin McGrath, of Limerick, Cynthia, wife of Raymond Slater, of Bryn Mawr, PA, Cathy, wife of Rodger Hornberger, of Raleigh, NC, and Christine Herholz, of Paoli, PA; six granddaughters, Megan and Kelly McGrath, Karen Cuevas and Kim Hornberger, and Annelise and Ingrid Slater; and one great-grandson, Alex Cuevas.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA 19468 on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at 10:00 AM. Officiating will be Rev. Stuart Luce. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. A calling time at the funeral home will be held from 9:00-10:00 AM.
