Evelyn M. Bowersox, age 94, wife of the late Harry J. Bowersox, of Douglassville, PA, formerly North Coventry Township, passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 in the Keystone Villa. Born on July 17, 1927 in Decatur Township, PA, she was a daughter of the late Emmerson and Beatrice (Smith) Henry.

Mrs. Bowersox attended Lewistown High School. She was a faithful and longtime member of the Cedarville United Methodist Church. A loving homemaker, she prided herself on an open and inviting house. Her caring and welcoming qualities will be sorely missed. Mrs. Bowersox enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and gardening.

Mrs. Bowersox is survived by five grandchildren, Monica, wife of Michael Neuin of Hamburg, PA, Kristina, wife of Scott Lillis of Exeter, PA, Andy, husband of Elizabeth Bowersox of Winston-Salem, NC, Peter, husband of Rebecca Bowersox of Norristown, PA, and Mark, husband of Christy Bowersox of Fairfax, VA; thirteen great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Janet, wife of Larry Armstrong and Pat, wife of Larry McCann. Mrs. Bowersox was preceded in death by two sons, Kenneth Wayne, husband of Lois Bowersox and Harry Lee, husband of Frances Bowersox; two brothers and one sister.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral ceremony at the Cedarville United Methodist Church, 1092 Laurelwood Road, Pottstown, PA on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Patricia Goshert. Burial will follow in the Brownback's United Church of Christ Cemetery, Spring City, PA.
