Evelyn E. (Shaner) Garber, 91, of Frederick Living, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2013. She was the wife of the late Charles R. Garber.

She was born in Spring City to the late Thomas M. and Rosa Belle (Filkins) Shaner. Mrs. Garber was employed by Spring-Ford Country Club for 30 years and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her sons: Harry L. and wife Jannette of Barto, Charles R. Jr. and wife Virginia, of Collegeville; Richard L. and wife Josephine of Emmaus; Kenneth A. and wife Cathy, of Gilbertsville; and Donald J., of Birdsboro; fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Lee M Garber, husband of Kathleen, of Barto; brothers: Harold, Ernie, and Robert; sisters: Dollie Shaner Wagner, widow of Charles, Joan Shaner, and Patricia Shaner Donovan, widow of Richard.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA. Visitation will be on Thursday evening from 7-8:30 and Friday 10-11 AM. Officiating will be Rev. Bradley F. Mellon. Burial will be in Limerick Garden of Memories.
