Evelyn C. Lally "Gigi", age 84, wife of the late John W. Lally, longtime resident of Brookline, MA, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2013 in the St. Martha Manor, Downingtown, PA. Born in Galway, Ireland, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Nellie Geary.

A resident of St Martha Manor since April 2011, Evelyn was cared and loved by all whose life she touched. She will be fondly remembered by the compassionate staff and residents of St. Martha Manor for many years to come.

Evelyn leaves behind a daughter, Kathleen Shave of Phoenixville, PA, and a son John Lally of Clinton, NJ. She is also survived by three brothers, Martin and Joe Geary of Galway, Ireland and Michael Geary of Fresno, California; two sisters, Peggy Fallon of Mervue, Ireland and Kathleen Brenner of Fresno, California; sister-in-law Irene Lally of Manomet, MA; ten grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews both in the United States and Ireland. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Webber of Roslindale, MA and Dymphna Pereira of Fresno, CA and one brother, Paddy Geary of London, England.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home, Brookline, MA, where service times for the Mass in Brookline, MA can be found. A memorial service will be held at the St. Martha Manor Chapel in Downingtown, PA at a later date to be announced.
