Evelyn P. Reardon, age 68, of Phoenixville, PA, died Monday, October 3, 2016 in her home. Born on September 8, 1948 in Pittsburgh, PA, she was a daughter of the late William and Eleanor (Dinkfelt) Reardon. She was a graduate of Western Pennsylvania School for the Blind, Allegheny Community College, Ashland College, and completed the Computer and Medical Transcription programs at the Chicago Lighthouse for the Blind.
Ms. Reardon spent her career as a medical transcriptionist in Chicago and at Holy Redeemer HealthCare at Huntingdon Valley.
Ms. Reardon is survived by three siblings, Eleanor Tolson, PhD, wife of C. Frederick Tolson, PhD, of Glencoe, IL, Elaine Reardon, wife of Mark Murway, of Fredericksburg, VA, Dr. William K. Reardon, husband of Catherine Reardon, of Chester Springs, PA, nephew, William K. Reardon III, nieces, Sara Reardon and Dr. Laura Feller, wife of David Feller, grandnephew, Jack Reardon Feller, and grandniece, Eleanor Grace Feller.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Graveside Service at Washington Memorial Chapel Churchyard, Rt 23, Valley Forge National Historical Park, Valley Forge, PA on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 1:00 pm.
