Evelyn D. (Keeley) Shive, 90, wife of the late Howard Shive Jr., of East Coventry, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2014, in Lansdale. Born in Spring City, she was a daughter of the late Mabel and Paul R. Keeley.

Evelyn was an active member of Brownback’s United Church of Christ. She was a member of the Ladies Aide, Bible study and Young At Heart, and volunteered making quilts, in the kitchen, with bazaars, and babysitting. She was also a volunteer with Ridge Fire Company.

Evelyn is survived by her sons, Craig A., husband of Cathy M. Shive, of Lansdale and Blaine R., husband of Mary T. Shive, of Phoenixville; seven grandchildren, Leah Shive, Kelly Conforti, Colin, husband of Nicole Shive, Ken Shive, Jared Shive, Caitlin McGarry and Neil McGarry; eight great grandchildren, Reilly, Ashley, Brittany, Isabella, Angelo, Amelia, Jake and Nick; and siblings, Betty Latshaw, of Spring City and Bob Keeley, of Spring City.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at Brownback’s United Church of Christ, 640 Ridge Road, Spring City, PA 19475, on Monday, August 4, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Raymond J. Jachowski. Interment will follow in the Church burial grounds. Friends will be received from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Brownback’s U.C.C. at the address above.
