Florence E. Benjamin, 93, of Spring City, PA, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at her home. She was the widow of Robert E. Benjamin, Sr., who died in 1995.
She was born in Philadelphia to the late Franklin and Jessie (Hansken) Lefevre. She was a homemaker and did housework for people in the area.
She is survived by her children: Richard, of Schnecksville; Ronald, of Mansfield; Edward, of Pottstown and Eileen Biddle, wife of Robert, with whom Florence lived; siblings: Alice Boch, of St. Loui, MO; Marian Walker, of Ft. Myers, FL; Helen Godshall, of Telford, John Lefevre, of Pottstown and William Lefevre, of Spotsylvania, VA; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Robert R. Benjamin Jr., sister, Constance and brothers: Benjamin, Adam and Carl.
Services will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at St. Peter’s Pikeland UCC, 1193 Clover Mill Rd., Chester Springs, PA 19425. Officiating will be Rev. Douglas E. Hanson. Calling time is from 10-11 AM. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church at the above address.
