Florence “Flo” Mae (Jones) Yungman (92) of Valley Forge passed away peacefully on January 10, 2020 at the Einstein Medical Center Montgomery surrounded by her loving husband of 68 years, A. Joseph Yungman, her son, Robert J. Yungman and son-in-law, Vincent M. Pompo. Born on August 21, 1927 in Forest City, PA, she was the daughter of the late Franklin G. and Mollie (Telban) Jones. Florence would later move to Binghamton, NY and would soon meet the love of her life, Joe. They would move to Columbus, Ohio, started a family, and eventually returned to Pennsylvania to build their dream home on Valley Forge Mountain. Florence began her lifelong nursing career as a traveling nurse in rural New York and Ohio. She later studied nursing at West Chester University and earned a masters degree in nursing at Temple University. Florence retired as the school nurse for the Phoenixville School District. Florence was a dedicated parishioner of St. Isaac Jogues and was involved in many church groups and organizations. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, cooking, playing bridge with friends, and was an excellent hostess. Florence was a loving wife, mother, aunt, and a dear friend to all and she will be missed by many.

She was predeceased by her sister Betty Andrews and brother Frank Jones; Sisters-in-law, Stephie Ondrako and Josie Marhefka; Brothers-in-law, Joseph Marhefka and Thomas “Hafey” Ondrako; and Great nephew, Adam Marhefka.

In addition to her loving husband, son and son-in-law, Florence is survived by Sister-in-law, Helen Marhefka; Nieces and nephews, Rick (Patricia) Marhefka, Terrie (Pete) Marhefka-Powell, Sharon Cioffi, Thomas (Marie) Ondrako, James (Carlos) Ondrako, Joe (Kelly) Ondrako, Frank Jones, David Jones, Sheri Jones, Lisa Jones, Mark Jones, Beth (Loren) Holland, Tom Pudish, Mary (Mark) Tyneway, and Carolyn Chalachan and their respective families; Great nieces and nephews, Alicia Marhefka, Ryan Powell, Rebecca (Ryan) McGinnis, Joseph (Christina) Powell; Krista Cioffi, Laura (Paul) Cioffi Esber, Robert (Gizeli) Cioffi, Jenna Cioffi, James Ondrako, Justin Ondrako, Nick (Sara) Ondrako; Brian Ondrako; Stephanie Ondrako, Joe (Beth) Ondrako, Steve (manish) Ondrako; Joe (Beth) Ondrako; Great grand nephew Nico Powell; and her two adoring Pugs, Amos and Andy.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday January 18, 2020 at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church, 50 W. Walker Rd., Wayne, PA 19087, from 9:00AM-10:00AM. A funeral mass will follow at 10:00AM at the church. Internment will follow at the Washington Memorial Chapel Churchyard, 2000 Valley Forge Park Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406.
