Surrounded by her children, Florence Ann Gallagher left her home to be with our heavenly father and her beloved husband, Frank on Thursday, November 3rd , 2016. Florence was born on December 22, 1927 to Joseph and Stella (Simosky) Skwatt of Minersville, PA where she grew up with her 6 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sisters Marian Jones of Orwigsburg; Irene, wife of William Dormer of Minersville; Dolores, wife of Roger Janney of Coatesville; and her brother Leonard Skwatt, husband of Kathleen of Berwyn, Illinois. She is predeceased by her brothers Joseph and Eddie. Florence was a devout Roman Catholic and a member of Sacred Heart Parish for almost 60 years. Florence was full of life and instilled her vivaciousness in her family and home. Her never faltering commitment assures us that she is watching over her legacy of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren from above. Her 7 loving children, Elaine, wife of John Sengia of Exeter; Patricia, wife of Nicholas Skokowski of North Coventry; Joan wife of Gordon Nicholson of Royersford; Karen, wife of Stanley Haraczka of Royersford; Kathleen Gallagher, fiancée of Paul Ketner of Nazareth; Frank, husband of Susan Gallagher of East Coventry and Sandra Gallagher, fiancée of Michael Glanski of North Coventry will hold her in their hearts forever. Florence is survived by 20 grandchildren, Nicole, John, Matthew, Melissa, Stephen, Michael, Sean, Stanley, Eric, Ryan, Patty, Colleen, Andrew, Adam, Jacob, Taylor, Christine, Alex, Nathan and Justin along with 20 great-grandchildren who will always remember her love for the holidays and large, family gatherings. Florence has now joined her cherished grandbaby angels: Christopher, Rachel and Maya.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Lewis Road at Walnut Street , Royersford, PA on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 10:00 am. Friends will be received from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm Tuesday and 8:30 am - 9:30 am at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA. Burial will be held in the Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA.
