Florence V. "Debbie" Simmons, age 92, wife of the late Linwood Simmons, of Spring City, formerly Pottstown, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born on October 13, 1923 in Pottstown, PA, she was a daughter of the late John F. and Louella (Gilbert) Rahn.

Mrs. Simmons was a 1941 graduate of Pottstown High School. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Pottstown, and had previously worked for the Royal Jewel Box and Milton's Children's Store, both of Pottstown. Mrs. Simmons enjoyed reading, was a member of the Birthday Club, and loved spending time with her family.

Mrs. Simmons is survived by one daughter, Kathleen B., wife of Robert Reifke of East Coventry; two sons, Linwood "Buddy", husband of Margaret (Veach) Simmons of Douglassville and Kevin, husband of Candi (Haas) Simmons of Pottstown; six grandchildren, Mark, Beth, Billy, Heather, Lindsey, and Eric; three great-grandchildren, Jordan, Cole, and Alaina; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Simmons was preceded in death by two children, Diana Trojanowski and Thomas Farnsworth, and four siblings, Geraldine E. Kupeski, Marion Reese, Helen Shockley, and Ralph Rahn.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Cynthia L. Krommes. Burial will be held in the Pottstown Cemetery. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Tuesday at the funeral home.
