Florence M. (Zawitkowski) Watts, age 84, wife of the late Lloyd O. Watts, of Spring City, Pennsylvania, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 in her residence. Born on September 24,1939, in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Lakatos) and John Zawitkowski.

Florence moved to Spring City in September of 1962 after she married Lloyd and it was there that she became a permanent fixture, raising her family and remaining a resident ever since. She loved going out on a Friday evening dancing with her husband and their friends.

She also enjoyed a night out with Lloyd at the American Legion or other local clubs. Florence was a life member of the Lower Pottsgrove Sportsman's Association and was a member of the Spring City American Legion Thomas W. O'Connor Post 602 Ladies Auxiliary.

She loved talking on the telephone, especially to her friends, something she continued throughout her life. Most importantly, she was very proud of her grandchildren and was always telling her friends about their accomplishments.

Florence is survived by children: John L. Watts and Kathleen M., wife of Doug Darlington; grandchildren: Kyle Darlington; Joshua (Erika) Darlington, and Jenna Darlington; and niece: Judith Shuck. She was preceded in death by a son: Stephen Watts.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, on Monday, April 1, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Gary J. Dierolf. Friends will be received from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
