Frances S. (Visco) Ellis, 76, wife of Robert W. Ellis, of Birchrunville, Pennsylvania, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2019 in her residence. Born on April 28, 1943 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Albert C. Visco and Cornelia (Carbonetta) Visco. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ellis was preceded by her brother: Albert J. Visco.

Frances attended Temple University and had been employed at Catalytic Construction and more recently at SKINcredible. Although she never ran for office, her primary interest was working on township issues as a concerned resident of West Vincent Township. She focused on topics such as: Actions and decisions by the Supervisors, distribution of township funds. residential and commercial development approvals and oversight, but her interests ran the gamut with regard to all township issues. She was a volunteer as a poll worker at the local Election Board for several years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA 19468 on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the St. Matthew's Lutheran Church Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University, Department of Paleontology, 1900 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, PA 19103, in memory of Frances S. Ellis and her brother, Albert J. Visco, who used to volunteer in the Paleontology Department. Arrangements are being handled by the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Royersford.
