Frances? S. (Masiak) Obniski, age 91, of Norristown, PA, formerly of Royersford, PA, died Tuesday evening in the Regina Nursing Center, Norristown, PA.? Born in Shamokin, PA, she was a daughter of the late William and Mary (Yanischak) Masiak.? She was a very active member of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Royersford.? She served in the choir, was a member of the Women's club, and also handled the bake sale for the parish fair for many years.?
Mrs. Obniski is survived by two daughters; Arlene, wife of the late Charles Rosini, of Elysburg, PA, Carol A., wife of Raymond Damiani, of Norristown, one sister; Florence, wife of William Coyle, of Brandon, PA, ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.? Mrs. Obniski was pre-deceased by one son; Robert, husband of Rosalie Obniski, of Royersford, PA.? Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Lewis Road at Walnut Street, Royersford, PA on Saturday morning, August 30th, 2008 at 11:00AM.? The Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Thomas F. Doyle.? Burial will be in the Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA.?
