Frances P. (Natale) Ott Obituary

Frances P. (Natale) Ott, 93, passed away peacefully, at home surrounded by her loving family, on April 20, 2024. She was the wife of the late Richard F. Ott who passed away just five months ago. Born December 20, 1930 in Phoenixville, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Jennie (Fusco) Natale.
Over the years, Franny worked at Detra Flag and waitressed at the Polish Club. She retired from Devault Meat Packaging where she worked on the production line packing hamburgers for many years, then became caregiver to the owner's mother. Frances loved to crochet and dance but spending time with her children and grandchildren was her favorite pastime.
Franny had a blessed life. She met Richard on the high bridge in 1946; they would remain together for 77 years, married 73 years. Frances and Richard were dedicated to each other and their family. They lived in East Pikeland Township for over 60 years in the home that Richard built for his family.
Frances is survived by her six devoted children: Richard R. Ott (Norma) of Fayetteville, NC; Joseph J. Ott of Phoenixville; Thomas W. Ott (Lisa) of Phoenixville; Constance F. Sweigart (David) of Pottstown; Donna O. Gillenwater (Paul) of Spring City; and Jennifer O. Kozak (John) of Phoenixville. Frances had 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and many, many nieces and nephews. Frances is also survived by her sister, Pauline (Don) Scheirer and brother, Dominic Natale, Jr. both of Phoenixville, PA.
Franny was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard F. Ott; daughter, Mary Ellen (Ott) Trout and son, Robert D. Ott; brothers, Augustine (Rusty) Natale, Joseph Natale, Andrew Natale and sister, Rose Borzumati.
Frances was a devout Catholic always attending church services regularly until her health declined. Thank you to Father O'Hara at St. Joseph's Church and Judy Zona for making time to visit Mom regularly and bring her communion. She was very grateful.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass in the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 3640 Schuylkill Road, Spring City, PA 19475 on Friday, April 26, 2024 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Charles O'Hara. Entombment will follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories. Friends will be received on Thursday evening, April 25, 2024 at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., 610 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, or on Friday morning at the Church from 9:30 am - 10:45 am.
