Francis A. DiDaniels, age 79, husband of Constance (Guanti) DiDaniels, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2020. Born on February 13, 1941 in Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of the late Frank and Josephine (DeFalco) DiDaniels.
Mr. DiDaniels served for two years in the United States Army in Germany. He retired from the Fairmount Park/Philadelphia Police Department following 24 years of service. Following his retirement, he would continue to work as a Security Officer for several local companies. Mr. DiDaniels was a member of the St. Ann Church in Phoenixville, and served as Past President of the League of the Sacred Heart of Jesus for the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Philadelphia. Mr. DiDaniels also was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Philadelphia, and the Men of Malvern at St. Joseph of the Hills-Malvern Retreat House.
In addition to his wife, Mr. DiDaniels is survived by two children, Nicole R. DiDaniels, fiancee of Aaron Thies of Phoenixville, PA and Michael A., husband of Rebecca DiDaniels of Cecil Township, PA; four grandchildren, Ethan DiDaniels, Collin DiDaniels, Annabelle DiDaniels and Olivia DiDaniels; one brother, Bernard, husband of Nancy DiDaniels of West Chester, PA; and one niece and one nephew, Lauren Slothower and Matthew DiDaniels and their families.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside service at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 Sproul Road, Springfield, PA on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 11:30 am. Officiating will be Rev. John J. Newns. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Philadelphia Police Widows Pension Fund Association, P.O.
