Francis X. Marshall Sr., 79, husband of the late Mary Ann (MacAdam) Marshall, of Phoenixville, passed away on Sunday morning, July 15, 2012, in his residence. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Leo E. and Anna V. (Duffy) Marshall.
Mr. Marshall was a 1950 graduate of the former St. Patrick High School in Norristown. He was employed for 30 years as manager of the PLCB Bureau of State Stores and also as a driver for Werner Bus. Mr. Marshall enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Mr. Marshall is survived by six children, Beth Ann wife of Dr. William Strimel, of Chesterbrook, Francis Marshall Jr., of West Chester, Michael Marshall, of Phoenixville, Dennis husband of Tammy Marshall, of Phoenixville, Daniel Marshall, of Phoenixville, and Charles Marshall, of West Chester; sister, Mary Florence wife of Thomas E. Larkin, of Sicklerville, NJ; brother, Harry Marshall, of State College; and four grandchildren, Alex, Connor, Lauren and Leah. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Leo and Gerald Marshall, and one sister, Helen Calhoun.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Thursday, July 19, 2012, at 11:00 AM, at St. Ann Chapel, 604 S. Main Street, Phoenixville. Officiating will be the Rev. John J. Newns. Interment will follow in the St. Ann Cemetery. Friends will be received from 9:00-10:30 AM at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue.
