Francis J. Mescall, Jr. age 71, husband of Margaret S. "Peggy" (Austin) Mescall, of Morgantown, PA, formerly Royersford, PA, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 in the Reading Hospital, Reading, PA. Born on September 14, 1946 in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Francis J. Sr. and Dorothy (Hunt) Mescall.

Frank worked for Kmart for many years. He loved the Eagles, good music, and Ford trucks.

Frank is survived by one daughter, Stephanie A., wife of Matthew Lackner of Pittsburgh, PA; four grandchildren, Matthew, Jack, Louis, and Elisabeth. He is also survived by three sisters, Dorothy C. Terhune, Mary F. Parke, and Margaret S. Harvey, and nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside service at the Fernwood Cemetery, 988 Township Line Road, Royersford, PA on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 10:30 am. Officiating will be Deacon David M. Kubczak. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Montgomery County SPCA, 19 E. Ridge Pike, P.O.Box 222, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
