Francis T. Ryan, 71, husband of Mary Ellen (Brennan) Ryan of Phoenixville, passed away on Friday evening, October 14, 2011, in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Born in Minersville, he was the son of the late Patrick and Jennie (Yannacone) Ryan.

Mr. Ryan was most recently employed as the labor relations manager for United Parcel Service in Philadelphia. He was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church and an avid Philadelphia sports fan. A devoted family man, he especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his loving wife of 45 years, Mr. Ryan is survived by his children: Janet M. Ryan of Phoenixville and Kevin husband of Andrea Ryan of Glen Rock, NJ; two grandchildren: Charlie and Sadie Ryan; two sisters: Barbara O'Brien of Norristown and Patricia Umberger of Reading; and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Dayton and St. Mary's Streets, Phoenixville, on Wednesday, October 19, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. John P. Hutter. Interment will follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories. Friends will be received from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Tuesday evening and from 9:00-10:15 a.m. Wednesday at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford.
