Fred H. Daywalt, Jr. 60, of West Norriton, PA died on Monday morning in Montgomery Hospital.? He was the husband of Linda M. (Angelucci) Daywalt.?
Born in Phoenixville, he was a son of the late Fred H. Sr. and Mary E. (Kulp) Daywalt.? He was a 1966 graduate of Spring-Ford High School and attended Pierce Junior College.?
Mr. Daywalt did accounting work in the production department of the Stroehman Bakeries, retiring with over thirty years of service.? He was an active member of Green Tree Church of the Brethren, where he served for many years as Treasurer and various other committees.? Fred also enjoyed collecting baseball memorabilia and traveling the eastern coast from Maine to Ocean City, NJ.?
In addition to his wife of twenty-one years, he is survived by a step-daughter, Michelle E. Taylor of Philadelphia, sister Cheryl L. Daywalt and brother James E., husband of Crystal (Davis) Daywalt, all of Oaks, step-grandsons, Nathaniel Taylor and Jesse Bays, and many nieces and nephews.?
His funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:30 AM at Green Tree Church of the Brethren, 1078 Egypt Road, Oaks, PA 19456.? Officiating will be Rev. David A. Leiter.? Burial will follow in the church cemetery.? Calling time is from 9-10:15 AM at the church.?
