Frederick W. Martin, age 81, husband of Barbara A. (Hutton) Martin, of Pottstown, PA died late Thursday evening March 10, 2011, in his home surrounded by his loving family. He worked for The West Co., in Phoenixville, PA for 34 years as a Senior Project Engineer resulting in the achievement of two patents.

Frederick was an avid member of many organizations such as the NRA, a life member of the Betchetville Rod and Gun Club, and the Phoenixville Mason's Lodge # 75, where he has been a member since 1952. Woodworking, hunting and fishing were some of his life long passions.

In addition to his loving wife of 53 years, Frederick is survived by one daughter; Deborah A. (Martin) Stauffer, of Dover PA; One son Jeffrey T. Martin, of Phoenixville, PA; as well as granddaughter Randi Stauffer, grandsons Kyle and Nate Stauffer and his amazing hunting dog "Sage".
