Gary A. Weary, 61, of New Hanover Twp, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with brain cancer. He was the beloved husband of Becky (Gaus) Weary, who showed her a love she never knew existed.

He was born in Muncy, PA a son of the late Daniel Weary and Gladys (O'Dell) Weary, of Montgomery, PA. He was a graduate of Montgomery High School and Lea College, of Albert Lea, MN. He earned a B.S. in Education and also played on the school's basketball team.

After serving during Vietnam in the Air Force, he worked for many years at Netzsch of Exton, lastly as facilities manager. Gary's love for his family was unsurpassed. His grandchildren were the love of his life and he loved spending time at the beach with them surf-fishing, crabbing, and clamming.

In addition to his wife of sixteen years and mother, he is survived by two step-sons: David M., husband of Christine M. Campbell, of Pottstown and Brian M. and Jessica M. Campbell, of Boyertown; grandchildren: Evan, Jakob, David and Paige Campbell; and two sisters: Linda, wife of Bruce Schrader, of Manassas, VA and Christine McNeill, of S. Williamsport, PA.

His memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 11 AM at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA. Friends will be received from 9:30 to 11 AM. Burial will be private.
