Genevieve T. (Jenny) Rega age 90, wife of the late Joseph Rega of Limerick Township, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at the Genesis Healthcare Sanatoga Center in Sanatoga PA. Born on February 28, 1934 in Linfield, PA, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Smigelski) Mackiewicz.

Jenny is lovingly remembered and survived by three daughters Debra Baber of New Oxford, PA, Joanne (Alan) Konschak of Royersford, PA and Patricia (Robert) Carfagno of East Coventry PA; two grandchildren, Miranda (Steve) Przyborowski and Mercedes (Sean) Harrington; and a great-granddaughter, Emma Harrington; sister Christine Krill and family; sister-in-law, Stella Mackiewicz and family; and was preceded in death by brother Joseph Mackiewicz and her son-in-law Frederick Baber.

Jenny was a longtime member of St. Clare's Catholic Church in Linfield and Sacred Heart Church in Royersford. She attended Royersford High School and worked at various local jobs including the dietary department at the Penhurst School and as a cook at Norristown State Hospital, from which she retired.

Jenny loved spending time with her family and her favorite pet chihuahua "Candy". She enjoyed baking pies & cakes, gardening, playing horseshoes, pinochle, and her favorite game bingo. She also enjoyed summer vacations boating, fishing and crabbing with family near Rehoboth Beach, DE. She also liked having a cold beer and cheering on the Phillies baseball team.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing starting at 9:30 am on Friday, July 12 with a memorial service at 11 am at Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street Royersford, Pa, 19468.
