Geoffrey Lawrence Wilson, 58, husband of Amy Beth (Geist) Wilson of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Monday, November 14th, 2022 at his home. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Thomas F. Wilson and Anna May (Kelly) Wilson.

Geoffrey grew up in Villanova, PA and graduated from Radnor High School in 1982. On June 18th, 1994, he married the love of his life, Amy. He did it all. He was a bouncer, a correctional officer, and a limo driver. He worked in restaurants for 10 years and retail for 15 years. His longest job was at The Home Depot, where he built lifelong friendships. In recent years he drove and assisted Dolores B. and Carol S. whom he dutifully cared for.

Geoffrey had numerous hobbies. He made it to 47 of our United States through multiple cross-country road trips. For several years he lived in Los Angeles, CA with his brothers, rubbing elbows with celebrities and making precious memories. He performed onstage at the World Famous Comedy Store. He metal-detected, coin-collected, bought and sold antiques, bought and worked on classic cars, painted, kept a fish tank, made candles, hiked mountains, wrote poems, told jokes, told stories, and sang songs, among many other things. He was especially proud and passionate about his photography, especially of beautiful nature scenes and celebrity gravesites. More than anything, his wife and children were the center of his world and his pride and joy. He took care of everyone.

His seemingly unshakeable positivity, countless jokes, and selflessness made him unforgettable to those who met him. The perennial favorite of his catchphrases was "Never had a bad day in my life". His optimism and resilience in the face of all obstacles inspired so many. On July 22, 2002, he received a kidney transplant followed by a pancreas transplant on February 17th, 2008. He held enormous gratitude for his donors and never hesitated to share his experience with others going through the same process.

Geoffrey is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Amy, daughter Beth Ann Matzik, son Michael S. Matzik, and son Luke Edward Wilson, all of Phoenixville, PA. His siblings are Thomas F. Wilson (Caroline) of Dana Point, CA, Brian M. Wilson of Phoenixville, PA, Anna May Hand (Chris) of King of Prussia, PA, and Jane Marie Wilson of Phoenixville, PA; as well as his loving aunts, Adele Wilson and Kay Kelly, and beloved in-laws. He loved his nieces/nephews Anna May, Emily, Gracie, Tommy, Kelly, Paul, Danielle, Benjamin, Sean, Pete, Brigid, Caitlyn, Rachel, and Zach. Thomas S., Carrie Jane, Zion, Jedediah, Thomas F., and Jude made him a happy great-uncle. He held dear his many friends and cousins whom he would call, have lunch with, or pay a visit to any chance he got. His sweetheart and the family dog Baby Blue Wilson, a Beagle/Min-Pin, will also miss him dearly.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Monday, November 21, 2022, at 11:00 am, at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville. Officiating will be the Rev. Benjamin O'Toole. Interment will follow in the Valley Forge Memorial Gardens. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the funeral home.
