George J, Bryan, age 82, of Limerick, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born on October 28, 1935 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Edward and Bridget (Timothy) Bryan.

George was a graduate of the former St. Thomas More High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and served in the United States Army for a short time. He worked as a steamfitter for over 35 years and was a member of the Steamfitters Local 420. As being a resident of Brigantine, New Jersey for a short period of time, he enjoyed his home there as well as reading and spending time with his family.

Mr. Bryan is survived by three children: Karen B., wife of Walter Helenski of Collegeville, PA, Francis E., husband of Kris Bryan of Douglassville, PA, Samantha L., wife of Vernon Tolman of Limerick, PA; two siblings: Margaret Gallagher of Lewes, DE and Lorraine Nash of Hendersonville, NC; and four grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 11:30am. Friends will be received from 11:00am - 11:30am graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org).
