Obituary

George S. Buzzerd, age 52, husband of Dawn L. (Bader) Buzzerd, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 29, 2022. Born on March 1, 1969 in Phoenixville, he was a son of Donald, husband of Carol Buzzerd of Reading, PA and Marie Vargo of Bottineau, ND.

George was a graduate of the Northern Chester County Technical School, and worked as a land surveyor at Ludgate Engineering Corporation in Reading, PA. He enjoyed spending time at his cabin and was an avid outdoorsman, hiking with his wife and dog Lana. He loved catching pictures of wildlife and nature on his trail cams. He truly enjoyed Christmas shopping and giving gifts. A hard worker, he often could be found lending a hand to his neighbors that he would assist with shoveling, as well as everyone he came in contact with. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family. George was a social member of the Valley Forge Fire Company, the Phoenixville VFW, and the Slovak American Club in Phoenixville.

In addition to his wife and parents, George is survived by two children, John Foulds, IV of Phoenixville, PA and Joelyn Roach of New York; six grandchildren, Zander, Alicia, Breanna, Jordan, Natalie, and Adrien; one brother, Gregory, husband of Tanya Buzzerd of Bottineau, ND and one half-sister, Victoria, wife of Brett Mihalcik; three nephews and one niece, Aaron and Justin Mihalcik, and Anna and Zachary Buzzerd; and his Aunt and Uncle, Connie, wife of Jeff Gallemore.
