George R. Henzie, 93, of Valley Forge, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2008 at Golden Living Center.? He was the widower of Vera I. (Martin) Henzie.?
Born in Phoenixville, he was a son of the late George and Emma (Brittain) Henzie.? He was employed for 70 years as a mechanic for David Midgley and Company.?
He is survived by a daughter, Georgianna, wife of Jerry Smith, of Princeton, WV; son, Robert, husband of Marilyn Henzie, of Shunk, PA; brothers, Gerald "Pete", husband of June Henzie, of Spring City and Samuel, husband of Norma Henzie, of Malvern, five grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.?
His funeral service will be on Thursday at 1:00 PM at Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., 610 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA.? Interment will be in Great Valley Presbyterian Cemetery.?
