George “Lumpy” Kearney Jr., 44, husband of Linda (Davis) Kearney, of Linfield, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2014, as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Born in Phoenixville, he was a son of Eva and George Kearney Sr., of Spring City.

In addition to his wife and parents Mr. Kearney is survived by his children, Kasey Kearney, of Bismarck, ND, George Kearney III, Melissa Kearney and Ivy Kearney, all of Linfield. He was preceded in death by a son, Kyle Kearney. George is also survived by a step-daughter, Danielle Royer, of Boyertown; and siblings, Arlene, wife of Alec Stillman, Charlotte, wife of Howard Charles, Tina, wife of Donald Shingle and Stephen Kearney.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Thursday, June 19, 2014, at 12:00 p.m. at the Spring City Fellowship Church, 540 Glass Avenue, Spring City, with the Pastor Daniel Kolb officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown. Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at the Church.
