George K. Page, age 99, husband of the late Hilda M. (Lockart) Page, of Spring City, PA and more recently of the Keystone Villa at Douglassville, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023. Born on October 27, 1923 in Chester Springs, PA, he was a son of the late George and Linda (Miller) Page.
Mr. Page was a graduate of Downingtown High School. He went on to honorably serve in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. Until his retirement, Mr. Page owned and operated George K. Page Builder. He was instrumental in the founding of Tri-County Bible Church in Gilbertsville, PA. Mr. Page found the importance of planting trees in this world, and he enjoyed doing just that. Over the years, he also loved the many dogs he and the family had.
Mr. Page is survived by two children, Stevan D. Page, husband of Maria and Mary Jane Page-Guber, wife of Joseph; six grandchildren, Adam, husband of Heather Page, David, husband of Michelle Page, Andrew Proitte, George, husband of Megan Proitte, Kevin Proitte, and Brian Youse Jr.; six great-grandchildren, Lilian, Nora, Andrew Jr., Andrea, Katrina, Trace, Keira, and three step great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was the last of eight siblings, having been preceded in death by his sisters and brothers, Emily Billman, Helen Latshaw, Edith Hedrick, Jean Snyder, Joseph Page, Richard Page, and Gilbert Page.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside service in the Pughtown Baptist Church Cemetery, 780 Pughtown Road, Spring City, PA on Friday, September 1, 2023 at 3:00 PM. Officiating will be Rev. Lee Hallman. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Tri-County Bible Church, 142 Buchert Road, Gilbertsville, PA 19525, which will allow for the planting of trees in his memory.
