Gerald R. "Jerry" Thornton, age 43, of Pottstown, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2007, in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.? Born in Pottstown, he was a son of the late Charles A. Thornton and Phyllis A. (Wemett) Mossie, of Phoenixville.?
Mr. Thornton loved hanging out with his family, fishing on the Schuylkill, working on cars, and camping.?
In addition to his mother, Mr. Thornton is survived by companion Barb Gordon, of Honeybrook, brother Roger, husband of Tamara Thornton of Alabama, Sisters, Karen, wife of James Shanta, of Pottstown, Terry L. Blodis, of Ephrata, Linda Acord, of Spring City, and Sherri wife of Ron Stover, of Pottstown, 12 nieces and nephews, and 12 great nieces and nephews.?
