Gerald F. "Jerry" Mosser, age 75, of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, passed away after a short illness on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 in the Tower Health Reading Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born on September 22, 1945 in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary (Zulkowski) Mosser.
Jerry served his country proudly in the United Stated Army from 1967 1971 where he fought in the Vietnam War and would later be honorably discharged. Jerry was also a dedicated and life member of the St. Paul's Memorial Episcopal Church in Oaks PA where he was involved in many church groups and organizations. In his spare time Jerry enjoyed playing cards with his close friends, golfing whenever he had the opportunity, enjoyed spending time in his garden, and was an avid reader. But most of all Jerry enjoyed spending time with his family, he was a loving brother, uncle, great uncle, cousin, and dear friend to all and he will be missed by many.
Mr. Mosser is survived by one sister, Barbara Rhoads; Nephew, Richard Rhoads (wife Brenda); Niece, Susan Bock (partner Wayne); Niece, Karen Schwartz (husband Ryan); And nephew, Thomas Rhoads (wife Melissa); Jerry is also survived by many loving great nieces and nephews.
Gerald was preceded in death by his parents.
Services for Mr. Mosser will be held privately at the convenience of the family at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Oaks PA. Burial will be held in the St. Paul's Episcopal Church Cemetery.
