Gerald F. “Fur” Raggazzino, 80, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at the Southeastern Veterans Center in Spring City.
Fur was born in Phoenixville to the late Frank and Mary (Dellaquilla) Raggazzino. He served in the Navy aboard the U.S.S. Abbot and was employed for many years at Phoenix Steel.
He was a life member of the Italian Club in Phoenixville, loved off track gambling and the racetrack.
Surviving are a wife, Theresa (Burns) Raggazzino, of Arkansas; sister, Antoinette Zink, wife of the late Albert, of Phoenixville and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by siblings: Virginia Mastrangelo, Pasquale “Pat” Raggazzino, Joseph “Duke” Raggazzino, Carmela Manorek, Anna Perrara and Rita Raniszewski.
A private service will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Southeastern Veterans Center, 1 Veteran’s Drive, Spring City, PA 19475.
