Gerlinde Wieland, age 95, wife of the late Karl W. Wieland, of Audubon, PA, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2026. Born on June 10, 1931 in Tuttlingen, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Karl and Anna (Hauser) Schillinger.
Gerlinde immigrated to the United States with her brother Roland in the early 1950s. She had a long career in accounting, and received her bachelor's degree from Eastern University in 1986. At retirement, she was working as a Senior Vice President of Accounting for a local environmental engineering firm.
Gerlinde was a faithful member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Audubon, PA. She enjoyed music, sang in a choir, and regularly attended theater performances. She enjoyed taking walks, especially in Valley Forge Park, traveling with her husband in retirement, and playing bridge and pinochle. She was an avid gardener who liked cooking and baking. Dogs always held a special place in her heart and brought her joy. Most of all, she cherished time spent with her family. She'll be lovingly remembered for her smile, her laughter, and that special twinkle in her eyes.
Gerlinde is survived by three children, Linda R., wife of Joseph Pisciotta, Karen A. Tate, partner of Michael Aceto, and Mark K. Wieland; and one grandson, Joseph Karl Pisciotta. She was preceded in death by two siblings, Doris Goergen and Roland Schillinger.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, 2725 Egypt Road, Audubon, PA on Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Friends will be received at the church from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM prior to the service. Officiating will be Rev. William Mueller. Burial will follow in the Washington Memorial Chapel Churchyard, Valley Forge, PA. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Andrew's Lutheran Church at the address above. Arrangements are being handled by the Campbell - Ennis - Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Phoenixville, PA. Condolences may be offered online at www.PhoenixvilleFuneralHome.com.
