Gertrude "Trudy" M. Ferenchak, 85, beloved wife of the late John Ferenchak, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2026, at Pottstown Hospital. Born in Norristown, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Joseph W. Duddy Sr. and Gertrude (Bolger) Duddy.

Trudy was a graduate of Bishop Kenrick High School, Class of 1959, where she was a cheerleader. She later enjoyed a long and dedicated career in health care administration, retiring as a medical staff coordinator.

An avid sports enthusiast throughout her life, Trudy enjoyed playing bridge, golf, tennis, and bowling. She was also a devoted sports fan who especially loved cheering for the Philadelphia Phillies and the University of Arizona Wildcats basketball team. Although born and raised in Pennsylvania, Trudy spent 30 years in Southern California's San Diego region before moving to Tucson, Arizona, in 2007. In 2024, she returned to her Pennsylvania roots.

Trudy is survived by her five children: John Ferenchak and his wife, Coty, of Tucson, Arizona; Joseph Ferenchak and his wife, Debbie, of Georgetown, Texas; Eileen Cornish and her husband, Steven, of Pottstown, Pennsylvania; Kathleen Ferenchak and her wife, Michelle, of Fremont, California; and Christopher Ferenchak and his wife, Bobbi, of Vancouver, Washington. She is also survived by her 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Trudy was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph W. Duddy Sr. and Gertrude Duddy, and her brothers, Joseph "Joel" Duddy Jr., Bernard Duddy, Terry Duddy, John Duddy, and David Duddy.

Trudy will be remembered for her devotion to family, her love of sports, and the joy she brought to all who knew her.
