Obituary

Gina Faye Dellapenna, age 25, of Elverson, PA, formerly Phoenixville, PA passed away unexpectedly Thursday, August 16, 2018 in Taylor Hospital, Ridley Park, PA. Born on January 28, 1993 in Phoenixville, PA, she was a daughter of the late Sandra D. (Ferrell) Dellapenna and Nicholas F. Dellapenna Jr., and his fiance Lynn McKalvey of Elverson, PA.

Gina was a 2011 graduate of Phoenixville High School, and attended West Chester University. She was a tremendous artist, who, with her unique style, loved to paint and draw and create exceptional works of art. She enjoyed traveling, having visited Spain, Jamaica, Mexico, and many states in the U.S. She loved music and played the guitar.

In addition to her father, Gina is survived by her brother, Justin J. Dellapenna of Exeter, PA; maternal grandparents, George Ferrell Sr., husband of the late Nancy Muncy-Ferrell of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; two uncles, Rocky, husband of Amy Dellapenna of West Chester, PA, Dennis, husband of Cookie Dellapenna of Sarasota, FL; one aunt, Lisa, wife of Lee Brand of Spring City, PA; and many cousins, extended family and friends. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Nicholas F. Sr. and Faye Dellapenna and her maternal grandmother, Pearl (Benning) Corbett.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral ceremony at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc, 610 South Main Street, Phoenixville, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Gary T. Pacitti. Burial will be held privately. Friends will be received from 9:30 am - 11:00 am Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Gift of Life Donor Program, 401 N. 3rd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123.
