Gladys A. (Swartley) Garber, age 92, wife of the late Raymond W. Garber, of Royersford, PA, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022. Born on June 26, 1929 in Limerick, PA, she was a daughter of the late Ethel Swartley.

Mrs. Garber was a graduate of the Royersford High School, class of 1947. She worked for the Spring City Knitting Mill, the Pottstown Hospital as a nurses aide, and as a machine operator for the Kimberton Company. In the past, she has attended Grace Lutheran Church in Royersford. Mrs. Garber enjoyed completing latch hook rugs and crocheting afghans. She liked to read Stephen King novels and watch the Philadelphia Sixers and Eagles. Mrs. Garber enjoyed camping and spending time with her family, including all of her dogs she loved over the years.

Mrs. Garber is survived by four children, Barry R., husband of Sandra Garber of Gilbertsville, PA, Dennis L. Garber of Royersford, PA, Cathy L., wife of David Gable of Royersford, PA, and Lori D., wife of Oscar Darlington of Douglassville, PA; fourteen grandchildren, Adam, Jennifer (Doug), Garrett, Bethany (Jon), Erin (Kolten), David Jr., Casey, Daniel, Ava (Joseph), Jada, Jackson, Kobe, Rose, and Zoe; and four great-grandchildren, Carson, Zachary, Lindy, and Julian.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral ceremony at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 11:00 am. Burial will be held privately. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Saturday at the funeral home.
