Gleta T. Wertman Herb, 86, of East Coventry, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at home. She was the widow of Vincent T. Wertman and wife of forty-six years of William D. Herb.
Born January 1, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Hurford and Lottie M. (Emery) Moses. She attended the former South Coventry High School. She was employed by Firestone Tire and Rubber Company in the bead department, as a clerk for a dry cleaner and as a hairdresser in earlier years. She was last employed as a child care provider for Our House Early Learning Center in North Coventry.
She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Boyertown, PA.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters: Donna G. Yurick and husband Nicholas, of North Coventry; Brenda L. Feairheller and husband Jay, of Upper Pottsgrove; sisters: Cema Witmer, widow of Warren, and Charlotte Wertman, widow of Winfred, both of Elverson and two grandchildren: Zachary Yurick and Courtney Feairheller. She was also predeceased by siblings: Jim, Bruce and Russell Moses and Doris Moses Lucas.
Services will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington St. Royersford, PA. Calling time will be from 10-11 AM. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Boyertown, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church, 45 N. Reading Ave., Boyertown, PA 19512.
