Gloria E. (Staub) Cowan, 85, of Spring City, passed away at Golden Living Center on Sunday, August 1, 2010. She was the widow of Robert Creighton Cowan who died in 1983.

She was born in Charlestown Twp. to the late Harry S. and Maude (Sloyer) Staub. Gloria worked at Hollingsworth for many years until retiring as a supervisor. She was an avid crafter and enjoyed displaying at various area shows.

She is survived by her son, Harry R. "Spike" Cowan and his wife Sandra, of Spring City; granddaughter, Jennifer Echikson, of Spring City; great-grandson, Lucas Harry Echikson; niece, Anita E. Rath wife of Ronald Sr., of Gilbertsville; great-nephew, Ronald Rath Jr. and wife Tina, of Pottstown; and two great-great-nephews, Kyle and Collin Rath. She was also predeceased by a son, Roger D. Cowan and sister, Anita B. Harn.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday, August 6, 2010 at 10 AM at Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main St. at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA 19460. Officiating will be Rev.
