Gloria E. Dickey, age 90, wife of the late Vincent "Patrick" Dickey of Pottstown, PA, formerly of Spring City, PA, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2026 at home. Born on October 6, 1936 in Phoenixville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Elmer F. and Elizabeth V. (Klimcho) Hughes.

Mrs. Dickey was a graduate of Phoenixville High School, and she received her bachelor's degree in education from West Chester University. Mrs. Dickey was a dedicated Fourth Grade teacher at East Pikeland Elementary School for 37 years until her retirement. She was a faithful member of Zion Lutheran Church in Spring City.

Living by the motto "Never Grow Up", Mrs. Dickey truly loved life and saw only the good in people. She was an avid bingo player, loved dogs, and looked forward to attending yard sales with her daughter and the occasional trip to the casino. Later in life, she found happiness playing arcade games and the slot machine in the basement of her daughter and son-in-law's home.

Mrs. Dickey is survived by one daughter, Jacqueline L., wife of Scott McConnell.

A private graveside ceremony will take place in Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery.
