Grace L. (MacIntire) Astheimer, age 91, wife of the late Albert R. Astheimer, formerly of Limerick, PA died Sunday morning, August 18, 2013 in the Frederick Living Center. Born in Limerick, PA, she was a daughter of the late Joseph K. and Alice (Major) MacIntire. She was a very active member of the St. James United Church of Christ, Limerick, PA. Mrs. Astheimer worked for many years in food services at the Limerick Elementary School. She was also a member of the Limerick Historical Society.

Mrs. Astheimer is survived by three sons: A. Richard, husband of Sallie A. (Yerger) Astheimer, of Green Lane, PA; J. Mark, husband of Jeannie W. (Iannelli) Astheimer, of Harleysville, PA; Robert E., husband of Karen (Griffin) Astheimer, of Perkiomenville, PA; five grandchildren, and one great grandson. Mrs. Astheimer was pre-deceased by two brothers: Harvey and Merrill MacIntire

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA 19468 on Thursday morning, August 22, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Scott I. Major. Burial will be in the Limerick Garden of Memories. Friends will be received from 10:00 - 11:00 AM, Thursday morning at the funeral home.
