Grace M. (Schaffer) Bainbridge, 90, formerly of Spring City, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at Manatawny Manor. She was the wife of the late William Bainbridge, Sr., who passed away in 1993.

She was born in Pughtown to the late Norman and Florence Schaffer. Grace was employed for many years as a nurse's aide at the Valley Forge Army Hospital, Spring-Ford Nursing Manor and Mary Hill Rest Haven, Phoenixville, PA. She also was a receptionist for the late Drs. Ross and Cressman.

Grace is survived by a daughter Sherrie Lafreeda, of Spring City, a daughter-in-law, Patricia Bainbridge, of Spring City, eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her three sons: William Jr., and his late wife Elizabeth, Charles and Arnold Bainbridge.
