Gregory Anthony Cardamone Sr., age 80, of Royersford, passed away on Saturday, September 21 2013 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA. He was married for 38 happy years to Jill (Buckwalter) Cardamone. Born February 20, 1933, Gregory was the son of Peter and Yolanda Cardamone and older brother to the late Splendora (Cardamone) Gilmore . He was born and raised in Conshohocken.

Gregory served his country during the Korean War . He married Jill (Buckwalter) Cardamone on April 12 1975, with whom he fathered two children, Julie and Gregory Jr. He worked at General Electric for over 30 years before joyfully retiring. Greg was an avid golfer, long time member of Spring-ford Country Club, and dedicated Philadelphia sports fanatic. One of Greg's proudest accomplishments was winning the 1978 Philadelphia Husband and Wife Golf Championship.

Greg is survived by his wife Jill, children Julie C., wife of Ryan Quinby, Gregory A Jr., husband of Joanna Cardamone, and grandchildren Sophia, Gregory, and Abraham. He was pre-deceased by one sister, Splendora Gilmore.

Relatives and friends are invited the attend the funeral Mass held on Wednesday, September 25 at 10AM at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Lewis Road at Walnut Street, Royersford, PA. Burial will be in the Limerick Garden of Memories. Friends will be received from 9:00 - 9:45 AM Wednesday morning at the Church.
