Gregory Scott Fry, 69, of Birsboro, PA passed away on July 11, 2016 after being stricken while at work. He was the husband of Jo Anne (Pacioni) Fry. They would have celebrated 25 year of marriage today.
Born on June 22, 1947 in Phoenixville, he was a son of the late Robert and Charlotte (Schurr) Fry. Scott was veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the Army as a helicopter door gunner from 1966-1970. He was employed by Penn DOT in Sanatoga for twenty-one years as a heavy equipment machine operator. He last was employed as a security guard at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.
He was a member of the NRA and donated regularly to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County. He was also a connoisseur of good wine and was passionate about his Harley Davidson Motorcycle.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children: Bridget and Michael; step-sons: Brian S. Mourar and William Mourar; brother, Robert J. Fry, Jr. and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Megan.
Services will be held on Friday, July 15, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington St., Royersford, PA. Calling time is from 8:30-10:00 AM. Burial will be in Limerick Garden of Memories.
