Harold W. Burton, age 89, husband of Grace T. (Wagner) Burton, of Eagleville, Pennsylvania, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022. Born on June 11, 1933 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Ruth A. (Slocum) and Walter H. Burton.

Harold served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in May of 1961. He retired from the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades (IUPAT) and related many times stories of his time in the Union.

His enthusiasm for numismatics, philately and deltiology led him to open the Ye Olde Coin and Hobby Shoppe in the King of Prussia Plaza in the 1970s operating the store for 15 years. Later, at the age of 81, he opened the Quaker City Coin business on Sansom Street, Jeweler's Row in Philadelphia. He was a voracious reader of all things related to the financial markets. The Las Vegas casinos were a favorite stop on his visits to the West Coast to visit his family. A "Gentleman Farmer", Harold raised various farm animals in years past including pigs, goats, steer, sheep and other small critters on the family property.

In addition to his loving wife of 56 years, Harold is survived by children: Christopher B. Burton, husband of Melissa A. of Burbank, CA, Kyle R. Burton husband of Kristin L. of Culver City, CA, Lauren B. Chierici wife of Christopher R. of Phoenixville, PA, Karolyn wife of Jeff Carter, White Haven, PA, six grandchildren: Sydney, Madison, Mason, Nathaniel, Ashley and Rory. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers: Ronald and Robert Burton.
