Harold D. Williams Sr., age 77, husband of Connie F. (Yosko) Williams, of Royersford, Pennsylvania, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023 in the Pottstown Hospital. Born on October 9, 1945 in Norristown, he was a son of the late Virginia (Sharitz) and Raymond Williams.
Harold had been employed for around 15 years each, at both Synthane Taylor in Oaks and TJ Cope in Collegeville, until his retirement. He was also a longtime member of the Polish Club and the Friendship Fire Co, both in Phoenixville.
A simple man, Harold enjoyed telling jokes to lighten the mood. He was quite the character who could always be counted on for a one-liner and had a nickname for everyone. He played the guitar and sang in a band called "The Travelers" and later in "The Rock and Country Drifters" with his brother, Ralph.
He was a big fan of oldies music and classic cars, and loved pointing out old cars and their unique styles. He was a fan of black and white movies, westerns, the 50's and especially Elvis Presley. Harold was also pretty good at drawing, especially cartoons.
In addition to his loving wife of 59 years, Harold is survived by his children: Harold D. Williams Jr., Kelly A. Williams and Raymond M. Williams; grandchildren: Ryan, Dakota, Destiny, Dylan and Christine Williams; great-granddaughter: Isabelle Rose; and siblings: Margaret Schall and Joseph Williams. He was preceded in death by brothers: Robert and Ralph Williams.
Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Harold's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, www.StJude.org/donate or the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
