Harry Spencer Ferry, 48, of Villanova, died suddenly on Sunday, March 21, 2010. He was the husband of Susan (Kulp) Ferry, with whom he shared 14 years of marriage.
He was born in Jamaica Plains, MA to Mary Elizabeth and the late Harry E. Ferry. A master craftsman, Harry was a self-contractor installing fencing for companies such as Rusticraft, Heritage and most recently for What a Good Dog as well as various others throughout the Delaware Valley. He was highly regarded in his trade for his impeccable quality and workmanship.
He was a master scuba diver and enjoyed history, politics, and hiking. He also loved the outdoors, animals, wildlife, the NFL and cooking.
In addition to his wife and mother, Harry leaves behind a brother, Peter C. Ferry, of Clinton, CT, many extended family members and dear friends.
His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 11 AM at Coventry Church of the Brethren, E. Cedarville Rd. and Keim St. Pottstown, PA 19465. Officiating will be Rev. Sandford J. Christophel and Pastor Carl C. Scorsone. Burial will be private. Visitations will be at the church on Friday evening from 6:30-8:30 PM and on Saturday morning from 9:45 to 10:45 AM.
