Havard A. Eppehimer, 87, formerly of Pottstown, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at Frederick Mennonite Community. He was the widower of Mary Jane (Saylor) Eppehimer.
He was born in Font, PA a son of the late Arthur and Mabel (Lewis) Eppehimer. After graduation from Spring City High School, he was employed for many years as a truck driver for Jones Motor and farmed his own land in Chester County.
He attended Valley Forge Baptist Temple, bowled in local leagues, and enjoyed watching football and NASCAR, and most of all, spending time with his family.
He is survived by his children: Margaret, wife of Charles Dillon, of Orlando, FL, Joan Hannevig, of Pottstown, Ann, wife of David Dilworth, of East Coventry and Daniel, husband of Lynne Eppehimer, of Gilbertsville; sister, Irma Wall, of Spring City; thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
His Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 1, 2011 at Faith Independent Baptist Church, 1015 Livingston Avenue, Phoenixville, PA 19460 at 12 noon. Officiating will be Rev. Jack Tomkinson. Friends will be received at the church from 11-12 noon. Burial will be private.
