Helen (Dudas) Beard, age 82, wife of Jacob A. "Jake" Beard, of Chester Springs, PA, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2016. Born on November 21, 1933 in Norristown, PA, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Bias) Dudas. Mrs. Beard was a founding member of the St. Basil Parrish in Kimberton. She worked as a secretary for the Phoenixville Chamber of Commerce.

Mrs. Beard is survived by two daughters, Donna and Linda, wife of Mark; three sons, Kenneth, Ronald, husband of Janie, and Allen, husband of Kathy; five grandchildren, Laura Jane, Alyson David, Jason and Ryan; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by nine siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass at St. Basil the Great R.C. Church, 2300 Kimberton Road, Kimberton, PA 19442 on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 10:30 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Gary T. Pacitti. Burial will be held privately in the Saints Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA. Friends will be received from 9:30 AM - 10:15 AM at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the St. Basil R.C.
