Helen E. (Fleming) Gehret, 96, wife of the late Robert M. Gehret, formerly Schuylkill Township, Chester County, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2017 in Highgate at Paoli Pointe. Born on December 6, 1920 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late William and Helen (Eckerlin) Fleming.

Helen was a graduate of the Philadelphia Moore Institute of Art and was employed by Container Corp of America. She had been a member of New Eden Mennonite Church in Schwenksville.

She was an avid Phillies fan and enjoyed sailing and horseback riding.

Mrs. Gehret is survived by her children: Joseph (Anne) McCann of Wilmington, DE, Barbara (Joseph) Callozzo of Phoenixville and Helene (Kenneth) Terne of Murrells Inlet, SC; cousins: Mildred Seckel of Green Lane and Mimi Eckerline of Easton, MD; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son: William F. McCann and a granddaughter: Gina L. Callozzo.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc, Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville. Inurnment will be held privately in the West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd. Friends will be received from 10:00 - 11:00 am at the funeral home.
