Obituary

HELEN B. Kitchick, of Spring City, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2010, in the Phoenixville Hospital after a long illness. She was the beloved wife of Donald J. Kitchick and they would have celebrated 53 years of marriage on February 9th. Born in Cambria County, she was one of seventeen children of the late Allard and Elizabeth (Good) Nihart.

Mrs. Kitchick was a 1956 graduate of Carrolltown High School, Carrolltown, PA. She formerly worked for Uniform Tube and the Spring Ford School District. She was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Spring City. She was a very kind and compassionate person and her family was very dear to her.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Kitchick is survived by son Joseph, husband of Phyllis, daughter Patricia, wife of John Youngblud, and son Timothy, husband of Deborah, eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, brothers Robert, of Phoenixville, and Paul, of Boyertown, and sister Millie of Vintondale.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, on Friday, January 29, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Charles R. O'Hara. Interment will follow in the Fernwood Cemetery. Friends will be received from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in her name to the St. Joseph's R.C. Church, 3640 Schuylkill Road, Spring City, PA 19475. Arrangements are being handled by the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Royersford.
